World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. Since it began in 1974 and now it is widely celebrated in over 100 countries. You can find more information on this page: https://www.unenvironment.org/
We preapared a weather chart about our partner countries and we compared the weather during the World Enviroment Day on 5 th June 2019. We use this weather forecast page in our class: https://www.yr.no/
In our school we use weather station to teach children about the environment as part of a sound science curriculum, but looking at static charts, reading printed text, and using data collected with diffrent methods can supress a student’s interest in the natural world.
